over:heat is a six-person video production crew based in Hong Kong. The same team plans the shoot, runs the set and handles editing and colour, so clients have one crew from the first brief through final delivery.
We produce commercials, interviews, event films, live-show recordings and social edits for organisations, societies and independent teams. Video can be booked on its own or together with photography.
Our published work includes a multi-camera annual performance for HKUST Dance Society, an event film for the HKSAR Department of Health and a two-camera interview for USTAGE. Each project page shows the crew, format and deliverables we can verify.
One production team from brief to delivery
The people on the shoot stay involved through post-production. That keeps the intent of the brief, the coverage from the set and the final edit connected instead of handing the project between separate suppliers.
Before the shoot, we agree on the date, crew, deliverables and price. We then prepare the shot list, call sheet and visual references. On set, the client can focus on the people or product in front of the camera while our crew runs the production.
Formats grounded in real Hong Kong projects
For HKUST Dance Society, our crew covered the annual performance with multiple cameras, stage photography, editing and colour. For USTAGE, we filmed Ocean Yiu with two cameras and a controlled lighting setup. For the Department of Health, we filmed across the event venue and delivered a highlight film that week.
Those projects represent different production conditions, so the crew and format are scoped around the brief rather than forced into one standard package.
Video production pricing and timing
Product and commercial production starts from HKD 15,000 per project. Event recording starts from HKD 4,500 per half-day, dance-show coverage from HKD 9,800 per show and post-production from HKD 2,500 per day.
Small edits usually take one to two weeks. Event and dance projects usually take about two weeks, while campaign timing is agreed before booking. Same-day highlight edits are available when they are included in the scope.

Can we book video without photography?
Yes. Video and photography can be booked separately or together. The quote will only include the crew and deliverables needed for the project.
Does the same crew handle editing?
Yes. over:heat handles editing, colour and sound in-house, including post-production for footage supplied by a client.
How long does a video project take?
Small edits usually take one to two weeks, and event or dance projects usually take about two weeks. Campaign timing is agreed before booking.
